Bluetooth headset could save you from an expensive ticket.

Bluetooth Bluetooth is the technology that lets you make and take calls through a little device that fits on your ear--with no hands and no wires. It uses a low-powered, low-frequency radio transmission to connect--or "pair"--a headset and a cell phone so they can exchange voice, audio, and data over a short range of up to 30 feet (10 meters).

To connect a Bluetooth cell phone and headset you have to "pair" them using a PIN passkey number. While the process is unique to the cell phone and headset combination, here's a basic primer on the pairing process for communication headsets.
